About The Conference
The Carnegie Mellon Sports Analytics Conference is an annual event dedicated to highlighting the latest sports research from the statistics and data science community.
Our annual CMSAConference features the latest research in sports analytics, talks by leaders in the field, active learning workshops, and professional development opportunities.
About CMSAC
The Department of Statistics & Data Science at Carnegie Mellon University has been a leader in sports analytics for many years, with a rich history of developing cutting-edge research and hosting accessible community events.
In Fall 2024, the department’s collective sports analytics initiatives officially launched as the Carnegie Mellon Sports Analytics Center (CMSAC).
